Name: Brittany Rhea Luebke

Return Path position: Social Media Marketing Coordinator, Digital and Brand Marketing

Career past life (What did you do?): Most recently, I worked in marketing and communications for an insurance and financial services company. Prior to that, I was a human resources consultant, specializing in benefit communication and employee wellness programs.

How long were you out of the workforce? I was out of the workforce almost two years.

Return Path role (What do you do each day?): As the social media marketing coordinator, I design corporate social media strategy based on Google Analytics and our corporate messaging. I write Twitter copy and post to the corporate Facebook and LinkedIn accounts. As a digital marketing team member, I execute ongoing projects related to the website, as well as one-time deliverables such as Powerpoint decks. There is a lot of variety in my work, which I enjoy.

Crossover (What skills from your past life do you use in your new position?): My writing and project management skills directly correlate to this position. Additionally, my experience with Salesforce.com, various email service providers and Google Analytics has proven valuable as well.

What does the Return to Work program mean to you? I view this as an opportunity to step into the workforce again and develop up-to-date experience. I appreciate the full- and part-time flexibility Return Path offers.

What do you hope to get out of it? I hope to enrich my skills and eventually find permanent employment.

What advice would you give to future Returnees? Be curious. Check out the information provided to you and ask questions.

Where did you hear about this program? I found it on Indeed.com, although I had heard of Return Path in passing before.
