2021: A Year of Progress for Returners

What a year it’s been for returners and returnships!  We made great progress in 2021 toward normalizing career breaks and creating more supportive on-ramps back into the workforce for returning caregivers. But the team at Path Forward couldn’t do any of it without:

Our Committed Employer Partners: We are so grateful for the 40 companies who partnered with us this year to launch and support their return to work programs – more than half of whom hosted returners for the first time. Welcome to the movement!

Our Supportive Alumni: Our family of program graduates joined us in force this year, speaking at our webinars for prospective returners, sharing their success stories to inspire others, and joining our workshops and networking sessions to mentor those just beginning their journey in returnships. We even had an alumna, Neema Bollampally, join our Board of Directors to help us build the future of the organization.

Our Generous Donors: We couldn’t have had this level of impact (100 companies and 750 program alumni) without the generous support of our donors. Thank you for being on this journey with us and allowing us to fulfill our mission, empowering caregivers on their return to work journeys. Together we are changing lives.

All of You: We’ve been amazed by the engagement we’ve seen from all of you. We had 9,000 registrations across the 20 webinars we hosted this year and watching you all interact with and support one another as a tribe has been so rewarding. Keep learning, growing and networking.

We are honored that all of you are part of our community and our movement, and we look forward to building on our momentum to break down more barriers and create more opportunities for those returning to their careers in 2022.
