Path Forward is excited to welcome Oracle Data Cloud and TTEC as new partners launching a return to work program in their Denver area office. As a part of our program, Oracle and TTEC are offering 16-week paid return to work internships starting in early 2018. Oracle and TTEC will be joined by Return Path, which is entering its third year of a Path Forward return to work partnership. Path Forward will work with all three partners to develop and implement the internships, and bring workshops, professional development, and networking opportunities to at-home caregivers who are seeking to re-enter the workforce.
The Path Forward program is open to mid-career professionals who have at least 5 years of professional experience and are looking to return to work after taking a career pause of at least two years or more for caregiving. Job listings for Path Forward opportunities will be posted starting in December. Sign up for our newsletter to be alerted as soon as listings are posted.
To kick off the program, we’ll be hosting a free Career Restart Seminar on January 16 from 1pm to 3pm where you will have a chance to meet recruiters from Oracle, TTEC and Return Path. Path Forward’s Executive Director, Tami Forman, will present information on how to restart your career with a return to work internship and offer advice on how to apply to the program. Fill out this form to get an invite to the seminar.
The Path Forward program originally began as a program at Return Path, which has a large office in Broomfield, Colorado. Return Path expanded its program in 2015 by creating a community consortium that included seven other local companies. In 2016, Return Path’s CEO, Matt Blumberg, launched Path Forward as a nonprofit to bring return to work programs to more employers and empower even more people to relaunch their careers.
Our program soon expanded into California with PayPal and Verizon Digital Media Services, among other companies. We now work with more than 25 companies in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York, in addition to Denver. Nearly 100 women have completed Path Forward internships and 80% of those were offered ongoing employment at the company where they interned. Within six months of the end of their program, 85% of them were employed. In the words of Return Path’s Janelle Pelletier, “I feel so honored to be part of this amazing program. It has been very fulfilling to be part of a team again. It has given me the confidence to know that I’m not alone in this transition and that I can provide a valuable contribution in today’s workforce. The leap back into the workforce isn’t as scary as I thought!” You can read about Janelle and many other graduates in our Participant Spotlights.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be announcing more partnerships and additional job listings at our existing network of partners. Stay tuned to our site and newsletter for updates.
