This direct hire returnship is for individuals who are returning to the paid workforce after a career break of 2 years or more. It offers you a chance to revamp and learn new skills and make connections with others transitioning back to the workforce. It also offers support through Path Forward, a nonprofit organization on a mission to empower people who’ve been focused on caregiving transition back to paid work.

A Distinct Approach to Career (Re)building
We appreciate that returning to work is a journey, and our 90-day training period is designed to give you a solid foundation for success. Prior sales experience is a plus, but not required for this role. Through our New Colleague Training program, you’ll have a chance to refresh old skills, learn new ones, and boost your confidence, all in a supportive and interactive remote learning setting. You’ll have the support of your colleagues, as well as coaching and guidance from your Training Manager throughout the training and beyond.

About the Role
As a Sales Executive, your entrepreneurial spirit is more than welcome here. Not only will you be the (virtual) face of our business, but you will also be our resident sales guru! You will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our company by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and targeting potential clients through market research, prospecting and lead generation.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of our services and how they address client challenges.
  • Generating new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other appropriate channels.
  • Meeting with prospects and clients virtually and in person to present our services
  • Negotiating and selling our staffing solutions
  • Developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.

We know that meeting these expectations will require effort, but that’s where our continuous learning and support comes in. Long after the introductory 90-day period, you’ll have access to sales tools and resources, as well as continued training to keep evolving your skills and knowledge and to advance your career.

About You
Prior sales experience is not required. However we are looking for key transferable skills, such as energy, drive and great communication skills. You may have developed these skills through experience in client services, customer care, marketing, communications, retail, or another public-facing field, or through your volunteer service while out of the workforce. Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or five years of professional work experience.
  • Sales enthusiast with a knack for cold calling, problem-solving, growing accounts, reviewing metrics, and delivering presentations.
  • Self-motivated go-getter who takes a results-driven approach and thrives in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
  • Adaptable learner, with eagerness to master new skills, services, and industries.

The non-negotiable base salary for this position is $50,000 unless outlined below. This position also offers a bonus and/or commission incentive program.
* California – $64,480
* Colorado – $50,000
* New York City; Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties – $58,500
* New York – All Other Locations – $55,341
* Washington – $65,478
